Terms of Service

Effective October 27, 2026

1. About these terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") are an agreement between you and OmniClient ("OmniClient", "we", "us"). They cover the OmniClient mod and the OmniClient Launcher (together, the "Software"), this website, and the OmniClient Store at store.omni-client.com (the "Store"; together with the Software and this website, the "Services").

By downloading, installing or using the Services, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, don't use the Services. If you are under the age of majority where you live, a parent or legal guardian must agree to these Terms for you.

Our Privacy Policy explains what information the Services handle, and forms part of these Terms.

2. Mojang and Microsoft

Not an official Minecraft product. Not approved by or associated with Mojang or Microsoft.

Minecraft is a trademark of Mojang. OmniClient is an independent project. To use the Software you need a legitimately purchased copy of Minecraft: Java Edition, and you must follow the Minecraft End User License Agreement, Minecraft's usage guidelines and the Microsoft Services Agreement. Nothing in these Terms changes your agreement with Mojang or Microsoft.

3. Availability

OmniClient is in early access. We don't promise a full release date, or that any feature described on this website will ship, or ship as described.

We may update, change, suspend or discontinue any part of the Services at any time. Updates may add, change or remove features.

Early access

While OmniClient is in early access, we may make it work only for players we've given early access. On other accounts the mod's features stay switched off, and Minecraft works as normal. Early access is given and taken away at our discretion, and isn't something you can buy.

Automatic updates

The OmniClient Launcher and the mod update themselves from this website: they check for a newer version when they start and install it for the next start (see the Privacy Policy). You can turn this off in the launcher's settings and with the mod's noupdate option, but older versions may stop working with our services.

4. Your licence to use the Software

As long as you follow these Terms, we give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to download, install and use the Software on devices you own or control, for your own non-commercial use.

Unless a part of the Software is published under an open-source licence (in which case that licence governs that part), you may not:

  • sell, rent, sublicense or otherwise commercially exploit the Software;
  • re-upload, mirror or redistribute the Software, or bundle it in a modpack or another launcher, without our written permission;
  • distribute modified versions of the Software, or present a modified version as OmniClient;
  • remove or change any copyright, trademark or other notices in the Software;
  • use the OmniClient name or logo in a way that suggests we endorse you or your project.

5. Fair play and server rules

OmniClient's features are built for performance, convenience and customisation. Multiplayer servers set their own rules about which modifications are allowed, and some don't allow client mods, or particular features such as Fullbright or Zoom, at all.

  • You are responsible for checking and following the rules of every server you play on.
  • You must not use the Software, or modify it, to cheat, to gain an advantage a server doesn't allow, to harass other players, or to break the law.
  • We are not responsible for bans, kicks or other action taken against you or your account by a server, by Mojang or by Microsoft.

6. Your Minecraft account

The OmniClient Launcher signs you in through Microsoft. Your Microsoft account, and your use of it, are governed by Microsoft's terms, not ours. Only sign in with accounts that are yours.

The launcher keeps the tokens it needs to keep you signed in on your own computer (see the Privacy Policy). You are responsible for keeping that computer and your user account on it secure. Offline accounts become available only after a Microsoft account that owns Minecraft: Java Edition has been added.

7. The OmniClient Store

Not pay-to-win

OmniClient is free, and every feature that affects how you play (performance, the HUD, zoom and the rest) stays free for everyone. The Store sells only looks and community perks: cosmetics, badges, plans and Discord roles. They never give an advantage in game, and only OmniClient players see them. Like the cosmetic ranks on a Minecraft server, what you spend helps pay for running OmniClient's servers. Purchases are with OmniClient, not Mojang or Microsoft, and don't give you anything in Minecraft itself.

Your Store account

You sign in to the Store through OmniClient, which proves which Minecraft account you have (see the Privacy Policy). Everything you buy belongs to that Minecraft account. Only buy for accounts that are yours, except gifts (below). We may suspend Store accounts used for fraud, chargebacks or abuse.

Prices and payment

Prices are set in US dollars; checkout may show them in your own currency. Purchases are sold through Onelink, Stripe's merchant of record service: Onelink takes your payment, works out and pays any sales tax or VAT (shown at checkout), sends your receipt and helps with payment questions, under its own terms. Your card statement shows LINK.COM*. We provide what you buy and are responsible for it. We may change prices; that doesn't affect what you've already bought, and we'll tell members at least 30 days before a plan's price changes.

Cosmetics you buy

Buying a cosmetic gives you a licence to use it in OmniClient for as long as the Store runs. It has no cash value and can't be transferred or exchanged. We may improve how a cosmetic looks. If we ever close the Store, we'll announce it at least 30 days ahead.

Plans: Omni+, Omni Pro and Omni Elite

  • Plans are monthly and renew automatically until you cancel. Cancel any time from your Store account, or from your Onelink account at link.com; you keep the plan until the end of the month you've paid for. We don't refund partial months, except where the law says we must.
  • A plan's perks (its badge, exclusive cosmetics, the cosmetics it lets you wear, its discount and its Discord role) last only while the plan is active.
  • You can switch plans from your Store account. Stripe works out the difference.

Free trials

Your first plan starts with free months: 6 with Omni+, 3 with Omni Pro and 1 with Omni Elite.

  • A free trial is for your first plan only, once per Minecraft account. A plan we gave you for free, or a gifted month, doesn't count as your first plan.
  • You add a payment method when the trial starts. When the trial ends, the plan becomes a paid monthly plan and you're charged its price, unless you've cancelled before then.
  • Cancel any time during the trial from your Store account. You keep the plan until the trial's last day and aren't charged.
  • Switching plans during a trial ends the trial, and you start paying for the new plan straight away.
  • We may change or stop free trials for new sign-ups; that doesn't affect a trial you've already started. We may end a trial that's used to get around these rules.

Welcome picks

Your first paid plan lets you pick cosmetics to keep forever: 3 with Omni+, 5 with Omni Pro and 10 with Omni Elite. Upgrading during that first plan raises the number. Welcome picks come with a first plan only: not with a later plan, or with a plan we gave you for free.

  • You choose them from the cosmetics on sale, on the Store's Welcome picks page. Picks are final.
  • They become yours to keep once you've paid for your plan for 3 months in a row; free trial months don't count. If it ends before that, the picks are removed.
  • Picks you haven't used stay available after those 3 months.

Gifts

You can buy a cosmetic, or a month of a plan, as a gift for another player's Minecraft account.

  • A gift belongs to the account it's for as soon as it's paid for, and can't be moved to another account. Check the name before you pay.
  • The player you gift to sees your Minecraft name with the gift.
  • A gifted month is a one-off payment, not a subscription: it gives that plan for 30 days and doesn't renew. More gifted months of the same plan add up. Gifted months don't come with welcome picks, and don't stop the player's own first plan from coming with them.
  • Refunds for a gift go to whoever paid. If a gift's payment is refunded or disputed, the gift is removed.

Discord perks and badges

Linking your Discord account and joining the OmniClient Discord server unlocks free perks, which last while you stay linked and in the server. Discord's own terms apply to your use of Discord. Staff, Creator and OG badges are given at our discretion, and any badge may be removed if it's used to mislead or harass others.

Refunds

Cosmetics and plans are delivered straight away. If you live in the EU or the UK, by buying you ask us to deliver them immediately and accept that you lose your right to withdraw from the purchase once they're delivered. This doesn't affect your other legal rights, for example if something doesn't work as described. If something goes wrong, contact us; for a question about a payment you can also ask Onelink support. If a payment is refunded or disputed, what it paid for is removed.

8. Third-party software and services

To set up a game, the OmniClient Launcher downloads and installs software made by others, which may include Minecraft and its libraries (Mojang), Minecraft Forge, Fabric Loader, Fabric API, Sodium, VulkanMod, OptiFine and Eclipse Temurin Java (Adoptium). Each is provided by its own authors under its own licence and terms, and is downloaded from its own source. OptiFine, for example, is downloaded directly from optifine.net.

By using that software you accept its licence and terms. We don't control third-party software or services and aren't responsible for them, including their availability, content or behaviour.

9. Ownership

The Software, this website, and the OmniClient name and logo belong to us or our licensors and are protected by copyright and other laws. These Terms give you a licence to use the Software. They don't transfer ownership of it to you.

Minecraft and related names and assets belong to Mojang and Microsoft. Other names and trademarks mentioned on this site belong to their respective owners.

10. Feedback

If you send us ideas, suggestions or bug reports, you agree that we may use them to improve OmniClient without owing you anything for them.

11. No warranty

The Services are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied or statutory, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title and non-infringement.

In particular, we don't promise that the Software will be error-free or secure, that it will work with every Minecraft version, mod, server or computer, or that it won't cause crashes or loss of data. Modifying a game always carries some risk, so keep backups of your worlds and settings.

Some places don't allow certain warranties to be excluded. In those places, the exclusions above apply only as far as the law allows.

12. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, OmniClient will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, worlds, accounts, profits or goodwill, arising from or related to your use of, or inability to use, the Services, even if we were told such damages were possible.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for all claims relating to the Services is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid us for the Services in the 12 months before the claim, or (b) US$50.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, or takes away rights you have as a consumer under the laws of the country where you live.

13. Termination

You can stop using the Services at any time by uninstalling the Software. To remove everything it stored, also delete the ~/.omni folder. Cancel any plan from your Store account first.

If you break these Terms, your licence ends automatically, and we may also end it by notice. When your licence ends you must stop using the Software and delete your copies, and we may close your Store account; what you bought isn't refunded unless the law says it must be. Sections 2 and 8 to 16 continue to apply after your licence ends.

We may also ban a Minecraft account from OmniClient, for example for breaking section 5. While an account is banned, OmniClient switches itself off for it and says why, and its cosmetics aren't shown to other players. If you think a ban is a mistake, contact us (section 17).

14. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we'll post the new version on this page and change the effective date at the top. If a change is significant, we'll also announce it on this website before it takes effect. If you keep using the Services after a change takes effect, you accept the updated Terms.

15. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, without regard to their conflict-of-law rules, and disputes go to the courts of England and Wales. If you are a consumer, you also keep the protection of any mandatory laws of the country where you live, and if you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland you can also bring a claim in your own courts.

16. General

  • These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, are the whole agreement between you and us about the Services.
  • If any part of these Terms can't be enforced, the rest stays in effect.
  • If we don't enforce a right straight away, we haven't given it up.
  • You may not transfer your rights under these Terms to anyone else. We may transfer ours, for example if the project changes hands.
